Becoming a Benefit Company was the natural fulfillment of a path characterized by constant attention to the territory and people.

We have chosen to transform ourselves into a Benefit Company using the legal form most suited to the values ​​of our brand. This corporate structure, which has its roots in the culture of corporate social responsibility, also focuses on the pursuit of objectives in favor of society and the environment, with concrete actions in favor of the community.

Becoming a Benefit Company represents the first step towards a subsequent transformation into a B-Corp, a further advancement and commitment to a more responsible form of business.
The transformation in question is a path forced by the new socio-environmental scenarios and by the ever-increasing demands and expectations of consumers.
The new generations will consider the attention towards sustainability issues by companies as an essential requirement, favoring those who will be able to concretely demonstrate and communicate their commitment in this sense.

MY OWN ACTION

My Own Action is a used sneaker collection program with which we give new life to shoes. In selected sales points, co-working spaces and public areas, our "used sneaker collector" boxes are positioned in which used sneakers are collected to be destined for subsequent recovery.

For years Moaconcept has been engaged in the urban regeneration of degraded areas through collaboration with public institutions, private entities and the involvement of independent artists. We believe that art helps to understand others: in addition to being inclusive, it is an incredible factor of aggregation and social development, putting individuals and their talents at the center, for the benefit of the community.

ENVIRONMENT

ONE SNEAKER MEANS ONE TREE

Desertification and drought are two problems that have a strong impact on climate change. We decided to provide our small contribution by activating a collaboration with WeForest , an international NGO, to finance the cultivation of 10,000 trees in the Mara region of Tanzania. Every sneaker sold helps fund the growth of a tree.

    RESEARCH OF MATERIALS

    The new Moaconcept collections are characterized by the search for eco-compatible materials. In recent seasons, some of the sneakers have been made with low environmental impact materials. Materials such as Appleskin were used - a sustainable material produced with fibers derived from the industrial processing of apples, Organicraft - a biodegradable leather processed in a completely eco-sustainable way and Biopelle - GRS (Global Recycled Standard / Intertech) certified recycled leather, made with free vegetable tanning of metals and chromium.
