Desertification and drought are two problems that strongly affect climate change. We have decided to make our small contribution by entering into a partnership with WeForest, an international NGO, to finance the cultivation of 10,000 trees in Tanzania in the Mara region.
Through this project we are acting on two cornerstones of our brand values:
Respect for others | Respect for the planet
HOW
With the investment of € 5,000 we are able to distribute and plant 10,000 trees (€ 0.5/tree) in the Mara region, located in north-western Tanzania and bordering Kenya and Lake Victoria.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
1 -Trees will improve the resilience of each farming family to economic and environmental shocks such as changes in market prices and irregular rainfall or drought
2 -Improving nutrition.
3 -Increasing household income.
4 -Restoring ecosystem services, including carbon sequestration from the atmosphere as trees grow.
